Come on down and stock up on your Thanksgiving needs at our annnual Harvest Market! Baked goods, seasonal veggies, fine quality Maine Made crafts...start your Holiday shopping! We will be at L.L.Bean (Main St. Freeport) from 12-4 on Sunday November 20th from 12:00-4:00. Look for the tents in one of the parking lots near the Main St.
Celebrate the Potato!
We celebrate the Maine potato this week at market. Find fresh, local grown Maine potatoes with many of our farm vendors. Kathy with Valley View Farm, Scott with Jillson's Farm, and Kay with Spring Brook farm offer up farm fresh potatoes. Many of our other vendors will feature the potato this week as well, keep your eye out for them.
The Master Food Preservers and Rae Belanger will be at market on Wednesday.
Musician for this week is the Newts on Saturday in Cumberland. They will offer a children's inter-active music program.

This week is TOMATO week at the market. come on by for lots of variety! Taste test tomatoes at the Plainview Farm tent. All of our farmer vendor have tomatoes at market.

Our Freeport market at L.L.Bean is moving back to our same spot at last year: We will be in the Coyote Lot at L.L.Bean this Friday, July 1st.

This week at market....
June 29th - July 2nd....
This week is Maine Lobster and Seafood Week at the market. Often rrecipes, crafts or products that enhance a Maine seafood and lobster meal will be at the market. Off the top of this bloggers head I can tell you that The Craftin' Scot often carries lobster/Maine theme fabric bibs and potholders. Casco Bay Soap Co. has a Kitchen Scrub soap that helps remove odors like fish, onion and garlic from your hands. Start out your meal with creamy cheeses made by Balfour Farms or Spring Day Creamery. Maine Saltwater Creations has wonderfully tasty chowder and fish cakes. And of course, buy your seafood directly from the lobster man at Luscious Live Lobsters. In addition to lobsters, they often have scallops, fish, clams and more!
